Our Dahlia seed has been tested under controlled conditions and has achieved an average germination rate of approximately 85%. Germination rates may vary depending on many factors beyond our control, including (but not limited to) seed-starting mix, soil quality, temperature, moisture levels, light, sowing depth, and general growing conditions.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee a particular germination rate once the seeds leave our care.

Every Seed is Unique

Dahlias grown from seed are genetically unique. Unlike Dahlia tubers, which produce clones of the parent plant, each seed contains a unique combination of genetics.

This means every plant has the potential to produce flowers that differ in colour, size, form, petal shape, plant height, flowering time, and overall growth habit. The parent plants are an indication of the genetics behind the seed but are not a guarantee of the flowers your seedlings will produce.

No Guarantee of Mature Plants or Flowers
